During Lent, the Wednesday noon Eucharist readings will come from A Women’s Lectionary for the Whole Church by Wilda Gafney. This lectionary centers women’s stories, and uses expansive language and imagery for God. During the sermon time, we will ask, “how does the framing, translation and the presentation of the scriptures in this lectionary compare and contrast to those of the readings from Sunday’s Revised Common Lectionary to Gafney’s lectionary.
