Lynne allows her love of music, love of God and love of people to inform her choices and decisions as Music Director at St. Francis. Lynne grew up a PK (preacher’s kid), playing piano for church services beginning at age ten. She has been involved in church music throughout her career as a public school music teacher and school administrator. Lynne firmly believes that there is a place for every one in the musical life of the church, and no contribution is too small or insignificant.
Lynne earned her BA in Music, her Masters degree in Aesthetic Education and an Education Specialist degree in school administration. In addition to being a music teacher and/or principal in the U City, Parkway and Lindbergh School Districts, she also is the Founder of Grand Center Arts Academy, a middle/high school visual and performing arts school located in the city of St. Louis.
Lynne is the proud mom of three sons and two grandchildren.
